What happened to our purpose?

Our purpose was to add joy and family to God-the Father's current existence.  So, what happened to our family.  In Genesis, we read that Adam was made as God's 1st son, and he made Adam a companion because it wasn't good for man to be alone. 

Adam had been told that the Garden/earth was his.  He was to be fruitful, multiply and subdue the earth...because the earth was made for Adam to enjoy, so it was made his responsibility to take care of.  God had given him access to the tree of life in the center of the garden.....but the tree of the knowledge of good in evil, he was told to not eat of it.  We know how the story goes.....Satan took a serpent body and used it to deceive the woman.  The bible says the woman was deceived, but Adam disobeyed God with his eyes wide open and he was not deceived.  Eve chose to believe the lie, words of the serpent
over the Word of God.  To make matters worse, Adam chose the woman, Eve over God and his Word.

The moment they disobeyed, the connection that was between God and his people was severed....they were instantly united with the one they obeyed.

I believe God in his all knowing saw the end from the beginning.  Think of it this way....you have a story, a plot and characters....you have hundreds of cameras with the movies in them.  Each movie shows a failure to trust  God.  Even if it were two other human beings.....Sam and Shelly...they too would fail.  Kids love do-overs, but how many times could we do-do overs.  Remember people are spirits and once created, they are forever. 

God made a way to get is family back and take care of any mistakes or sins that his family would ever make for all eternity.  He found a way to get his family-our purpose back for eternity.....We can make a choice to choose to be a part of God-the father's family. 


God is not hung up on sin, sickness, or death....humans are.  God does not hide or run away from sin...yours or anyone elses.  It's people than run from God.  When Adam sinned...he was the one that hid....God came looking for him.....where are you and what have you done.....God said.  God already knew, but he was showing Adam...that you can't hide from God.....and neither can you.
